About the Instructor
Amanda has been teaching yoga since 2013 when she received her 200 hour yoga teacher training certification. She enjoys teaching a style of slow flow long hold to obtain a deep stretch and muscle release and relaxation. Her style of teaching helps to prevent injury and reduces muscle fatigue.
Amanda has taught yoga to everyone from elementary children to older adults with limited mobility. When not teaching yoga, Amanda is working in private practice as a Food Sensitivities Dietitian, stand up paddle boarding, cooking, and hiking.
What’s Expected of You
Besides a positive outlook, a willingness to work hard for your results, and a commitment to be better than you were yesterday, we only ask a few things of you:
- Show up every week with a desire to learn and grow.
- Be supportive of others around you; no matter their skill level. Or yours.
- Believe in the yourself and the process.
- We will supply most needed equipment, but we know most practitioners like to bring their own mats, etc. Feel free to bring your favorite gear along.
I have some questions!
